Bonang Matheba is the daughter of Charlotte Mokoena (mother) who is an executive vice-president for human resource and Corporate Affairs of Sasol. Her father, Gampi Matheba, is a senior lecturer at North-West University.
She belongs to Tswana ethnic group, which is a Bantu-speaking group.
Bonang Matheba was born in Mafikeng, but later the family relocated to Leondale, East of Johannesburg. Queen B attended a government co-ed school (co-ed is co-education, which means mixed-sex education) in North Johannesburg called Fourways high school.

When Bonang was at the age of 15 she made her first debut on television. This was on the SABC2 kids show known as Manhattan Fantasy Challenge. She also appeared on other SABC2 kids shows.

AKA was born 0n 28 January 1988 in Cape Town South Africa. But he was raised up in Johannesburg. AKA died on February 10, 2023 at the age of 35 after he was shot in the head while standing outside a restaurant with his friend Tabello Motsoane. They were killed by two gunmen.
